Tom Sawyer post numero tres (#3)

wow. i haven't posted about mr. sawyer for a while. well, tom was having some relationship problems with becky, so he decided to go be a pirate. that's not exactly wut i would do if i were in his posistion, but hey, everyone's different. huck and tom's friend joe went with tom on his "adventure". they went down a river or sumthin and are on an island. i don't know if it's uninhabited or n e thing, but it seems like it's a cool place. personally, i don't think they planned very well. i mean, yeah, they brought food and stuff, but now everyone thinks they're dead. i think it might actually be kinda fun to go off and be a pirate for a while. but not if ppl think i'm dead. okay, there was also a big thunderstorm, which is wut made tom huck and joe decide to go back to their town. and u know wut they did? they came back right in the middle of their funeral! if u think about it, it is kinda cool, but it's mean, too. if my family thought i was dead, i would do sumthing to show them i'm not. i wouldn't want them to suffer and be sad for nothing, like tom made his aunt do. but tom was pretty down in the dumps at the time, so i guess u can't really blame him. well, i like this book, but it's takin me a while to read it. hey, does n e one know when we have to start readin shane? mueller's blog says feb. 19, but jacque told me we have until after mid-winter break to finish tom sawyer... can sumone inform me??? thanks! oh wait, i can just post a comment on mueller's blog. okay......see ya, then
